Ufford Gardening Club is delighted to announce the resumption of our annual Village Summer Show, following the lockdown cancellation of 2020.
We have simplified the horticultural classes this year but in every other respect there is still plenty to interest both old and young.
Come and try your luck at the Tombola; let the young people have some fun with the games; treat yourself to a Pimm’s or buy Granny a tea with delicious homemade cake. It will be an opportunity to meet old friends and new residents alike, making a great celebration for our Village following a bleak year.
All are welcome and don’t forget the canine member of the family – the Dog Show welcomes all comers. Whether you need sun cream or wellies, we’re prepared and the Show goes on!
Additionally this year there will be a chance to meet the team organising the Ufford Arts Festival - September 2022. The team are planning now, and will be at the Show to explain their plans, seek your feedback on them and answer your questions. They are also holding a sale of art, gardening and other books to raise funds.

The Show has a long history!
The Club's first Summer Show was held in the grounds of Ufford Place on 2nd September 1908 (see History). The 100th anniversary of the Show was celebrated in 2008 and the following archive photographs give a flavour of this Edwardian themed event.
